We will work closely with the GoMRI-supported Sea Grant network to widely disseminate significant findings to the Gulf of Mexico restoration community.
CARMMHA’s outreach team is working with GoMRI-supported Gulf Sea Grant extension agents to distribute information with state and federal agencies, environmental NGOs, stranding network members, and local fishermen to ensure that CARMMHA research will contribute to the development of mitigation, management, and restoration actions.
As the CARMMHA project progresses, we will communicate new findings related to the health of Gulf marine mammals and trajectories of population recovery as quickly as possible, ensuring that resource managers have the latest, relevant information to inform decision making regarding the nature and extent of restoration projects.
